Our mission is to help colony caretakers stabilize and vaccinate community cat populations through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR).
Berks Community Cats provides Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) support, clinic scheduling, transportation assistance, trapping guidance, and community cat resources throughout Berks County and surrounding areas.
We work with several partner clinics to help provide affordable spay/neuter services, vaccinations, flea and parasite treatment, FeLV/FIV testing, and additional medical care when available.
Our organization also helps connect friendly cats and kittens from TNR projects with foster homes and permanent adopters while advocating for humane solutions for community cats.

Our staff has a combined 50+ years of experience. We are a small group of dedicated volunteers who also assist with trapping when needed.
While we are not a rescue, we occasionally partner with local organizations to help connect people and cats with available resources and support.

Sometimes during trapping efforts, we come across friendly cats and kittens who are not suited for outdoor life and deserve loving indoor homes. When space and resources allow, we bring them into our Adoption & Foster Program to help these cats transition into adoption.
Throughout the year, Berks Community Cats hosts adoption events, fundraisers, community outreach programs, and special events to help support our mission and the cats in our care.
From online auctions and donation drives to adoption fairs and workshops, every event helps raise critical funds and awareness for community cats in need.
We invite you to follow along, attend an event, volunteer, or help spread the word. Every bit of support makes a difference.

There are many ways to support Berks Community Cats and help improve the lives of community cats in our area — from donating and volunteering to adopting, sharing our mission, and advocating for humane community cat care.
